New Pilot Open Day LMAC

This year we ran our first New Pilots Open Day at the LMAC. The idea being to attract new pilots into the world of Aerobatics, both Pattern and IMAC. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to attract any new pilots, but we did attract some Veterans back in Stu and Dave Carr. The weather was fantastic, and a great day was had by all.
We intend to host an even like this every year or two as a ‘come along and give it a go’ initiative to attract anyone with an interest in Aerobatics. The sportsman class is the entry level class for Aerobatics and is open to all club members and any style of model. The sequence of manoeuvres can be found on the website.
We are very grateful to the Laois club for allowing us access to their club site for the day. Also thanks to Gerry, Brian and Michael for their support in making this happen.
