Update on the Boora Fun-Fly August B/H Weekend

MMFC held their three day event in Boora over the weekend.

We opened at 3PM on Friday  and had over 20 MACI Members on site by 6 PM with nearly all camping. The fun was good and the camaraderie fantastic which set a good foundation for the following 2 days.

We had over 40 Maci flyers on Sat and Sunday representing 10 Maci Clubs and fed over 50 people on Saturday that was preceded by a Monster Raffle with some fantastic prizes.

Registration was held to MACI guidelines with IRL nos, IAA registration and Large Model Certs checked. We had 3 CDs and our Safety Officer in attendance all weekend with Briefing on Friday at 3 PM and 10 AM Saturday and Sunday .

I would as MMFC Secretary like to thank all the flyers who came from all parts of the Country and make this event what is today.  I would also like to thank all our sponsors who gave generously of their funding and wares. I would especially like to thank all our MMFC Members who worked tirelessly to have our Club and new Development of our site what is today one of the best Clubs in the County.
